Walking
If you are in the heart of Sentrum, start by heading south on Storgata, the main shopping street. Walk past shops and cafes until you reach the intersection with Kirkegata. Turn left onto Kirkegata and continue walking straight. You will pass the Tromsø Cathedral on your right. Keep walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the waterfront. The Roald Amundsen Monument is located in the park area along the waterfront, just a short walk further along the path.

From the main bus stop in Sentrum, take bus route 34 towards 'Tromsøya'. You will need to pay for the bus ticket, which costs approximately 40 NOK. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes.
