Getting There

  • Walking

    From Tromsdalen, head south towards the main road, called 'Håkon VIIs gate'. Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs for the Arctic–Alpine Botanic Garden. Follow the signs, and after a short walk through the beautiful surroundings, you will find the entrance to the garden on your right.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you prefer taking the bus, look for the nearest bus stop in Tromsdalen. Board bus number 26 or 27 towards 'Universitetet'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Botanisk hage' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of the Arctic–Alpine Botanic Garden. Please note that a single bus ticket costs around 50 NOK.
