Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from anywhere in Viken, head towards the E6 highway. Depending on your starting point, you may need to follow local roads to connect to the E6. Once on the E6, drive towards Oslo. As you approach Oslo, follow the signs for 'Oslo Sentrum' (Oslo City Center). After merging onto the E18, take the exit toward Frogner and Slottsplassen. You will find parking facilities around the area, but be aware that parking may incur costs (around NOK 30-50 per hour). After parking, it's a short walk to The Royal Palace located at Slottsplassen 1, 0010 Oslo.

• Public Transportation - Train

  From any location in Viken, take a train to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). The train services are frequent and provided by Vy or other local operators. Once you arrive at Oslo Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the bus terminal. From here, you can take Bus 30 or 31 towards Frogner. Get off at the stop 'Slottsplassen'. The Royal Palace is just a few minutes’ walk from the bus stop. Train tickets will cost approximately NOK 100-200 depending on your departure station.

  If you're closer to a bus station, there are direct buses from various locations in Viken to Oslo. Check for buses heading to 'Oslo Sentrum'. Once you arrive in Oslo, look for the nearest stop to Slottsplassen. Buses like 20 or 30 will take you there directly. The fare is typically around NOK 50-100 for a single trip. After disembarking, it’s a short walk to The Royal Palace at Slottsplassen 1.
