If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Gudvangen. From Bergen, take the E16 and follow signs towards Voss. After Voss, continue on the E16 until you reach the junction with the Rv13. Follow Rv13 towards Gudvangen. Once you arrive in Gudvangen, follow local signs directing you to Kjelfossen. There is a designated parking area nearby (check for any parking fees). The waterfall is a short hike from the parking area.

To reach Kjelfossen using public transportation, take a bus from Bergen to Gudvangen. The bus service is operated by Nor-Way Bussekspress, and you can find schedules online.
