Car
If you're driving, take the E39 highway from Bergen or the E16 from Oslo. From Bergen, head east on the E16 until you reach the junction with the E39. Merge onto E39 heading north towards Vik i Sogn. Once you reach Vik, follow the signs to Moahaugane. The final destination is located 3.5 km from Vik center, and you will need to turn onto a smaller road leading to Moahaugane. Make sure to have a GPS or a map handy, as the smaller roads may not be well marked.
Public Transport (Bus)
For those using public transport, take a bus from Bergen to Vik i Sogn. The bus service is operated by Vy, and buses run several times a day. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Vik, you can either walk (about 30-40 minutes) to Moahaugane or take a local taxi, which may cost around NOK 200-300 depending on the time of day.
Combination (Train + Bus)
Alternatively, you can take a train from Oslo to Myrdal, then transfer to the Flåm train to Flåm. From Flåm, take a bus to Vik i Sogn. This route offers stunning views of the fjords. Upon reaching Vik, follow the same instructions as above for walking or taking a taxi to Moahaugane.
