To reach North Cape (Nordkapp) by car from Western Norway, start your journey from Bergen. Take the E39 highway north towards Ålesund. From Ålesund, continue on the E136 to connect with the E6. Follow the E6 north through Trondheim and continue up to Mo i Rana. From Mo i Rana, take the E12 towards Sweden, and then rejoin the E6 heading north. As you approach Alta, switch to the E69, which will take you directly to North Cape. The entire drive is scenic but requires careful navigation, particularly in winter months due to possible snow and ice. Fuel costs will vary, but expect to spend approximately NOK 1,500 - 2,000 on fuel for the round trip.
