Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Akron, you can take the Metro RTA bus route 1 (Blue Line) from the Central Station. Board the bus heading towards the East Akron. Ride for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Newton and E. Market St. Once you disembark, walk east on E. Market St. and take a left onto Newton St. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Goodyear Heights Metro Park at 2077 Newton St.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, start at the Akron Civic Theatre. Head east on E. Market St. and follow it until you reach the intersection with Newton St. Turn left onto Newton St. The park entrance will be about 1.5 miles ahead, and it is a pleasant ride with minimal traffic on the way.

    If you are walking from downtown Akron, start at Main St. and head east on E. Market St. Continue straight for about 1.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Newton St. Turn left onto Newton St. and keep walking for another 0.5 miles.
