If you are starting from Akron’s main public transit hub, the Akron Metro Transit Center, head south on S Main St. Walk down S Main St for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with W Bowery St. Lock 4 will be located on the left side at 200 S Main St.
Public Transit (Bus)
From the Akron Metro Transit Center, take the Metro RTA bus route 1 (the Main Street Line). Board the bus heading towards the Akron Southside. Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at the stop labeled 'Main St & Bowery St'. From there, walk south on S Main St for about 2 minutes, and you will arrive at Lock 4, located at 200 S Main St.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-share program. Start from the Akron Metro Transit Center and head south on S Main St. Follow the bike lane along S Main St for about 0.5 miles. Lock 4 is located on your left at 200 S Main St. There is bike parking available at the park.
