From the center of Chillicothe (say, at the Ross County Courthouse), walk to the nearest bus stop on Bridge Street. Catch the Chillicothe Public Transit bus heading towards the Scioto Trail State Park area. The bus will take you to a stop near 144 Lake Rd. Once you get off, walk towards Lake Road, and you'll see the park entrance. The journey should take about 30 minutes, depending on bus schedules.

If you're in downtown Chillicothe, begin at the Ross County Courthouse. Head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Lake Road. Turn left onto Lake Road and continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles. Scioto Trail State Park will be on your right. Please be mindful of traffic as you walk along the road.
