Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the center of Chillicothe, specifically at the intersection of Main Street and Paint Street. From there, head east on Paint Street until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Water Street. Turn right onto Water Street and follow it as it curves and becomes a small path leading up to Carlisle Hill. The hill is located at approximately 39.3322711 latitude and -82.9885551 longitude, so keep an eye out for the signs indicating the historical landmark as you ascend the hill.

  If you have access to a bike, begin your journey from the Chillicothe City Park located at 1000 E Main St. Exit the park and head west on East Main Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street and take a left. Go down 3rd Street until you hit Water Street. Make a right on Water Street and follow it until you see the entrance to the path leading up to Carlisle Hill. The uphill path is well-marked, leading you directly to the landmark.
