Start at the Ross County Courthouse located at 2 N Paint St, Chillicothe, OH 45601. Head south on Paint Street toward W Main Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E Main Street. Turn right onto E Main Street. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto N High Street. Continue for another 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Highland Avenue. Turn right onto Highland Avenue. Walk straight for about 0.2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Carlisle Hill Star and Overlook on your left. Enjoy the scenic views!

From the Chillicothe Public Library at 140 S Paint St, take the Ross County Transit bus (Route 1) towards the Highland Avenue stop. After approximately a 10-minute bus ride, disembark at the Highland Avenue stop. Walk a short distance up Highland Avenue for about 0.2 miles. The Carlisle Hill Star and Overlook will be on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at Yoctangee Park located at 200 E Water St, Chillicothe, OH 45601. Head east on Water Street toward N Paint Street. Turn left onto N Paint Street and continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach E Main Street. Turn right onto E Main Street and continue for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto N High Street and cycle for about 0.3 miles, then turn right onto Highland Avenue. Continue for about 0.2 miles and you will find Carlisle Hill Star and Overlook on your left.
