Getting There

• Public Transit

  Start by locating the nearest bus stop in Cincinnati. If you're in downtown Cincinnati, head to the Government Square Transit Center. From there, take the Metro Bus Route 1 (Montgomery Rd). Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Hyde Park Plaza' stop. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles. Head east on Erie Ave, then turn left onto Observatory Ave. Continue straight until you reach Observatory Pl, where the Cincinnati Observatory is located at 3489 Observatory Pl.

• Walking

  If you are in the Hyde Park area, you can walk to the Cincinnati Observatory. Start at the Hyde Park Square and head east on Erie Ave. Continue walking for about 0.7 miles, then turn left onto Observatory Ave. Follow Observatory Ave until you reach Observatory Pl, where the Cincinnati Observatory is at 3489 Observatory Pl. This walk will take you through a charming neighborhood.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Cincinnati. Start from downtown and head east towards Hyde Park along the bike-friendly routes. You can take the bike lanes along the roads until you reach Erie Ave. From there, turn left onto Observatory Ave and continue until you reach Observatory Pl. The observatory is located at 3489 Observatory Pl, and there are bike racks available for parking.
