Walking
If you are at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, begin by heading southeast on Vine Street toward 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Walnut Street. Turn right onto Walnut Street and walk straight for about 0.5 miles. You will cross over the L&N Bridge. After crossing, continue straight, and you will see the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge ahead. The bridge connects Cincinnati to Covington, Kentucky, so walk towards it.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Cincinnati Public Library at 800 Vine St, take Metro Bus Route 1 (the Main Street route) from the stop on Vine Street. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 5th and Main stop. From there, head south on 5th Street until you reach Walnut Street. Turn right onto Walnut Street and walk straight for about 0.5 miles. After crossing the L&N Bridge, continue straight to reach the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge.
Biking
If you're near Smale Riverfront Park, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations. Head north on the bike path along the Ohio River. Keep riding for about 1 mile until you reach the Roebling Bridge entrance. The path will lead you directly to the bridge, where you can park your bike and enjoy the view.
