Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  From downtown Dayton, you can take the RTA bus route 1 (the 'Main Street' route) from the Dayton Transit Center located at 4 S. Main St. Board the bus heading towards the west. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes, and get off at the stop near the intersection of E. 3rd St. and S. Jefferson St. After disembarking, walk east on E. 3rd St. until you reach the intersection with S. Main St. Turn right onto S. Main St. and continue walking until you reach the Dayton Terra-Cotta Historic District, located at approximately 39.7562° N latitude and -84.1934° W longitude.

• Walking

  If you are already in the downtown area, you can easily walk to the Dayton Terra-Cotta Historic District. Start at the Dayton Metro Library located at 215 E. 3rd St. Walk east on E. 3rd St. for about 5-10 minutes until you reach S. Main St. Turn right onto S. Main St. and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The historic district will be on your right, near the intersection of E. 3rd St. and S. Main St.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations in downtown Dayton. Start at the station on E. 5th St. and N. St. Clair St. and head south on N. St. Clair St. Turn left onto E. 3rd St. and continue until you reach S. Main St. Turn right onto S. Main St. and cycle for a few minutes until you arrive at the Dayton Terra-Cotta Historic District, which will be on your right.
