Public Bus
To reach Hills & Dales MetroPark using public transportation, start at the Dayton Transit Center located at 4th and Main Street in downtown Dayton. From there, take the RTA Bus #8 (Southbound). You will need to ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the bus stop on S Patterson Blvd at the intersection with E Stroop Rd. Once you get off the bus, walk south along S Patterson Blvd for about 0.5 miles. The entrance to Hills & Dales MetroPark will be on your left at 2655 S Patterson Blvd.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, start in downtown Dayton and head south on the Great Miami Riverway trail. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Patterson Blvd. Turn left onto Patterson Blvd and continue cycling for about 3 miles until you arrive at Hills & Dales MetroPark.
