Public Transportation
From downtown Dayton, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the Greater Dayton RTA. Take the Route 3 bus towards the Wright Stop Plaza. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop on W 5th St and N Main St. From there, transfer to the Route 9 bus towards the Dayton Mall. After another 10 minutes, get off at the stop on W 5th St and N Broadway St. McPherson Town Historic District is just a short 5-minute walk from this stop. Head east on W 5th St towards N Broadway St, then turn left onto N Broadway St. Continue until you reach the historic district.

Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations available in downtown Dayton. Start from the Riverscape MetroPark and head south along the bike path until you reach N Jefferson St. Turn left on N Jefferson St and ride until you reach W 5th St. Turn right on W 5th St and continue until you reach the McPherson Town Historic District, which will be on your left. The ride takes about 15-20 minutes depending on your speed.

If you are close to the downtown area, you can walk to the McPherson Town Historic District. Start at the Courthouse Square and head south on Main St. Turn left onto W 5th St and walk until you reach the intersection with N Broadway St. The historic district is located just a few blocks away. This walk should take around 25-30 minutes.
