Merge onto OH-84 E and continue for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward I-77 S and merge onto I-77 S. Continue on I-77 S for approximately 6 miles. Take exit 155 for OH-21 N toward Brecksville. Continue on OH-21 N for about 3 miles, then take the exit toward Canal Rd. Turn left onto Canal Rd, and follow it until you reach the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail at Lock 38, located at the coordinates 41.3726699, -81.6127606. Parking is available nearby.

Board a bus heading towards Downtown Cleveland. Once you reach Downtown, transfer to the RTA Green Line train towards South Park Mall. Disembark at the South Park Mall station. From there, you can catch the RTA bus 35 towards Brecksville. Request to get off at Canal Rd & Brecksville Rd. From the bus stop, it's about a 1-mile walk to Lock 38 along Canal Rd.
