To reach Thompson House at 24 3rd St, Newport KY from Mason, head to the nearest bus stop and board the Metro bus route 50 heading towards downtown Cincinnati. The bus will take you through Mason towards the city. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at the stop at 5th St & Main St in Cincinnati. From there, transfer to the TANK bus route 1 towards Newport. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 3rd St & York St. Once you get off, walk one block to the east on 3rd St, and you'll find Thompson House on your left.

Biking
If you prefer biking, start at the Mason Community Center and head south on Mason-Montgomery Rd. Continue onto 4 Mile Rd and then take a right onto Fields Ertel Rd until you reach the intersection with I-71. Follow the bike path along the road. Continue to follow the bike path until you reach the bridge over the Ohio River into Kentucky. Once across, turn left on 3rd St and ride straight. Thompson House will be on your right at 24 3rd St.

If you are staying in the downtown area of Mason and prefer walking, you need to first walk to the nearest bus stop on Mason-Montgomery Rd. Board the Metro bus route 50 towards downtown Cincinnati. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at 5th St & Main St in Cincinnati, and from there, transfer to TANK bus route 1 towards Newport. After a 15-minute ride, disembark at 3rd St & York St. Walk one block east on 3rd St and you will see Thompson House at 24 3rd St on your left.
