If you are driving from any location in Western Ohio, use the following directions to reach Akron Zoo located at 500 Edgewood Ave, Akron, OH 44307. Start by getting on I-75 N from your location. Continue on I-75 N and merge onto I-70 E. Follow I-70 E to I-76 E towards Akron. Take exit 22A for I-77 N towards Cleveland. Continue on I-77 N and take exit 22 for US-224 W. Follow the signs for US-224 W, then merge onto OH-8 N. Finally, take the exit for OH-241 N to Edgewood Ave. Turn left onto Edgewood Ave, and the zoo will be on your right. Note that parking fees might apply at the zoo.

Once you arrive in Akron, you can take the Summit Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) bus. Board bus route 1 (Akron Transit) and ride to the stop closest to the Akron Zoo, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the SARTA schedule in advance for bus timings.
