If you're driving to Island MetroPark from anywhere in Western Reserve, start by getting onto I-75 S. Continue on I-75 S for approximately 40 miles, then take exit 51A for US-35 E toward Dayton. Merge onto US-35 E and follow the signs for Dayton. Take the exit toward Main St and merge onto E Helena St. The park entrance will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, and it is free.

For public transportation, you can take the Greater Dayton RTA bus service. Check the RTA website for specific routes from your location in Western Reserve. You will likely need to transfer at the Dayton Transportation Center. From there, take Bus Route 1 or 2 toward downtown Dayton.
