From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach Ford Nature Center. Head southwest on Old Furnace Rd. for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to the center on your right.

    For those who prefer to bike, start from downtown Youngstown and head south on Market St. Follow Market St. until you reach Old Furnace Rd. Turn left on Old Furnace Rd. and continue for about 1.5 miles. Ford Nature Center will be on your left.     If you are walking from the Youngstown State University area, head south on Wick Ave. until you reach the intersection with Mahoning Ave. Turn left and continue walking for about 0.7 miles.
