    From Great Salt Plains State Park, start by heading southwest on State Highway 38 (OK-38) for about 15 miles. Continue on OK-38 until you reach the intersection with State Highway 54 (OK-54) near Jet, OK. Turn left (east) onto OK-54 and drive for approximately 22 miles. Upon reaching the town of Alva, take the US-64 exit and turn right onto US-64 heading west. Continue on US-64 for about 15 miles until you reach the junction with State Highway 325 (OK-325). Turn left onto OK-325 and follow it for approximately 30 miles. Black Mesa State Park & Nature Preserve will be on your right. Be sure to check for any potential tolls on your route.
