Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Green Country, start by getting onto US-64 W from your current location. Follow US-64 W for approximately 45 miles until you reach the junction with US-270. Merge onto US-270 N towards Beaver. Continue on US-270 for about 25 miles. Beaver Dunes Park will be located on the right side of the road, just outside the city of Beaver, Oklahoma. Look for the park entrance sign.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options may be limited in Green Country, but you can take a Greyhound bus from Tulsa to Beaver. You will need to check the Greyhound schedule as it may not run daily. Once you arrive in Beaver, you can use a local taxi service or rideshare app (if available) to reach Beaver Dunes Park, which is about 10 miles from the bus station. Be sure to arrange your transportation in advance, as local options may be limited.

• Bicycle

  For those adventurous enough to bike, start from Beaver, Oklahoma, and head south on US-270, which has a shoulder for cyclists. The ride is about 10 miles from Beaver to Beaver Dunes Park. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules, as US-270 is a busy highway.

• Walking

  Walking to Beaver Dunes Park is not recommended due to the distance from Beaver and the lack of sidewalks along US-270. However, if you are staying nearby, you can walk along the perimeter of the park once you arrive. Be sure to stay safe and aware of traffic.
