From Panhandle, head east on OK-51 toward Altus. After about 30 miles, take the exit towards Mountain Park. Continue on the access road until you reach US-183. Turn right onto US-183 South, and follow it for about 10 miles. Then, turn left onto E 1566 Rd. The entrance to Great Plains State Park will be on your right. The full drive takes approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to the park, so be prepared with cash or a card.
