Getting There

• Public Transportation

  If you are starting from downtown Tulsa, walk to the nearest bus stop to catch the Tulsa Transit bus route 220, which heads towards the Oral Roberts University area. Board the bus and ride for approximately 30 minutes, staying alert for stops. You will want to get off at the 'Oral Roberts University' stop. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles southeast along S. Lewis Ave. until you reach the intersection with E. 81st St. Continue straight on this path until you arrive at the Praying Hands monument, which will be visible on the university campus.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start from downtown Tulsa and head south along S. Boston Ave. Follow this street until you reach the intersections with E. 61st St. and continue on S. Lewis Ave. The ride is roughly 3 miles and will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the area of Oral Roberts University, look for directional signs leading to the Praying Hands monument, which is located on the university grounds.

  If you are within walking distance, you can navigate your way to the Praying Hands monument by heading south on S. Lewis Ave. Keep walking for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance of the Oral Roberts University. The monument is located within the university grounds, so make sure to follow the campus signs once you enter to find the Praying Hands.
