If you are traveling by car, start your journey by heading northwest on Route 1 (Sultan Qaboos Street) from the center of Al Hajar Ash Sharqi. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers, passing through a few towns until you reach Muscat. Once in Muscat, follow the signs for Mutrah.
