If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Al Hajar Ash Sharqi and head southeast on Route 23. Follow the signs towards Sur, which will lead you onto Route 23. After approximately 90 kilometers, take the exit towards Sur. Continue straight until you reach the city center. Look for signs directing you to the Gold Souq, which is located in Harat Al Balush. Parking is available near the souq, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

For those using public transportation, find the nearest bus station in Al Hajar Ash Sharqi. Take a bus heading to Sur. The bus journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Sur, disembark at the main bus station. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Gold Souq. Walking will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes; simply head east towards the city center and follow the signs to Gold Souq.

You can also opt for a taxi from anywhere in Al Hajar Ash Sharqi to Sur Traditional Souq. Taxis are widely available, and it is advisable to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The ride should take about an hour depending on traffic, and the cost may range from 15 to 20 Omani Rials. Upon reaching Sur, instruct the driver to take you to 'Gold Souq'.
