Walking
From the center of Bahla, head towards the Bahla Fort. Walk along Al Hizam Street until you reach the main road, then turn left onto the road leading out of Bahla. Continue walking straight along this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Tanuf. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the town of Tanuf. The Tanuf Castle Ruins are located just off the main road, and there will be signs guiding you to the entrance.
Public Bus
From Bahla, locate the nearest bus stop. Look for a bus heading towards Tanuf or any bus that passes through the main road towards Nizwa. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Tanuf, ask the driver to drop you off near the Tanuf Castle Ruins, or follow the signs from the bus stop. The ruins are a short 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop.
