If you are traveling by car, start from the main tourist area in Jebel Akhdar. Head east on the main road towards the village of Hawqayn. As you drive, keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Hoqain Waterfalls. The GPS coordinates for the waterfalls are approximately 23.5463° N latitude and 57.3415° E longitude. Once you arrive in Hawqayn, follow the local signs directing you to the waterfalls. The road may become narrow and winding, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the waterfall entrance.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a bus or shared taxi from your accommodation in Jebel Akhdar to the nearest town with public transport services, such as Nizwa. From Nizwa, you can find a bus or a shared taxi that goes towards Hawqayn. Inform the driver of your destination, Hoqain Waterfalls, as you get on. It’s advisable to check the bus schedules in advance because they may not operate frequently. Once you reach Hawqayn, you may need to walk or find a local taxi for the remaining distance to the waterfalls, which are about a 10-minute drive away from the town center.
