Start your journey from the center of Mirbat. Head southeast on the main road (Sultan Qaboos Street) towards Taqah. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take the right fork to continue towards Taqah. Keep walking straight for about 4 kilometers, enjoying the coastal views along the way. As you approach Taqah, look for signs pointing towards Wadi Darbat. Turn left onto Wadi Darbat Road and follow it for about 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the entrance to the Wadi Darbat scenic viewpoint.

If you can rent a bicycle in Mirbat, this is a great option. Begin at the local market area and cycle southeast along Sultan Qaboos Street. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right path towards Taqah, cycling for another 4 kilometers. As you enter Taqah, watch for signs for Wadi Darbat. Turn left onto Wadi Darbat Road and bike for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area for the scenic viewpoint.

For the more adventurous, you can hike from Mirbat to Darbat. Begin your hike at the western edge of Mirbat and follow the coastline southeast. This route will lead you along scenic cliffs and offer stunning views of the ocean. After approximately 6 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Taqah. From there, navigate towards Wadi Darbat, heading inland. Once you reach Wadi Darbat Road, continue walking for about 3 kilometers to the scenic viewpoint parking area.
