Getting There

Walking
Start at the Mirbat Souq, which is centrally located in Mirbat. From the Souq, head southeast on the main road (Route 31) towards Kizetakhayf. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road sign towards Taiq Cave. The path may be slightly uphill, so take your time. Once at the intersection, you will see a small sign indicating the direction to Taiq Cave. Turn left and follow the road for about 1 kilometer, where you will find a trailhead leading into the mountains towards the cave. The trail is marked, but be prepared for some rocky terrain.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Mirbat Souq. Start your journey by cycling southeast along Route 31 towards Kizetakhayf. After cycling for approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach an intersection. Look for the sign indicating the direction to Taiq Cave. Turn left at the intersection and continue for about 1 kilometer. You will see the trailhead on your right, which leads to Taiq Cave. Please be cautious as the terrain can be uneven and requires good balance.

If you prefer not to walk or cycle, you can hire a local taxi. Start at a well-known spot in Mirbat, such as the Mirbat Fort. Ask the driver to take you to Taiq Cave, providing them with the coordinates: Latitude 17.153935, Longitude 54.623475. The taxi will take you as close as possible to the cave entrance. Expect the ride to take around 15-20 minutes. Once dropped off, you may still need to walk a short distance to reach the cave entrance, following any visible trails.
