Oman Discovery by Buggy

Oman Discovery Tour during our stay at Fanar Hotel and Resort.

During our stay at Fanar Hotel and resort in Salalah, Oman, we wanted to go on a Buggy, Quad Bike adventure. We met up with Bader and Adam, who explained the various options offered by Salalah Adventure Tours. We opted to go on the Oman Discovery. The tours lasts around 6-7 hours where we were picked up from our hotel in a 4x4 Jeep and taken to the starting point. Salem our tour guide gave us a safety briefing and supplied all the safety equipment such as a helmet, face mask and goggles. We were then shown the 4x4 buggies and how to drive. The drive is for circa 55km, where you ride through dunes, ancient ruins and a flamingo lagoon. During the ride we stop at a hidden beach, with amazing views, where we chilled and enjoyed a barbecue with soft drinks, tea/coffee. We then made our way back to our starting point, where you relax, clean (as you'll be dusty) and then be driven back to your hotel.
