Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Mutrah Corniche, head towards the southern end of the promenade. You will see the majestic Mutrah Fort on your left. Continue walking up the hill towards the fort, following the path that curves around the mountain. As you reach the fort, the Mutrah City Walls will be directly adjacent to it. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor.

    If you are starting from a location further away, such as the Ruwi area, you can take a public bus heading towards Mutrah. Look for buses that have 'Mutrah' displayed on them. The fare is usually around 200 baisa (0.52 USD). Once you reach the Mutrah bus station, exit the bus and head towards the Corniche.
