Walking
If you are in the main market area of Muttrah, head towards the Mutrah Corniche, which is a scenic waterfront promenade. Walk along the Corniche in the direction of the sea. Continue walking until you reach the Mutrah Roundabout. The Mutrah Pier is located just beyond this roundabout. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main market area.
Public Bus
From the Mutrah Souq, you can take a local bus that heads towards the Mutrah Roundabout. Look for the bus stop closest to the souq and wait for a bus that indicates it goes to the roundabout. The fare is usually very low, around 0.5 OMR. Once you arrive at the Mutrah Roundabout, disembark and walk a short distance towards the pier, which is clearly visible from the roundabout.
Taxi
You can also opt for a taxi if you prefer not to walk. Taxis are available throughout Muttrah, especially near popular tourist destinations like the souq. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the trip. A short ride to Mutrah Pier from the souq should cost around 1-2 OMR. Once you reach the Mutrah Roundabout, the pier will be nearby; just ask the driver to drop you off at the pier.
