Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the Nizwa Fort, a central landmark in Nizwa. Head southeast on Al-Mudhaibi Street. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al-Jahili Street. Turn left onto Al-Jahili Street and walk for approximately 600 meters. As you walk, keep an eye out for local shops and cafes, which are great for a quick stop. Once you reach the T-junction, turn right onto the main road, and after about 400 meters, you will see the sign for Falaj Daris on your left. The UNESCO site is about 200 meters down the road.

Public Transport
From the Nizwa Souq, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Al-Bahri Street. Take a local bus heading towards Falaj Daris. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. You should ask the driver to let you know when you reach Falaj Daris (they are usually familiar with the stop). Once you get off the bus, walk about 200 meters in the direction the bus was heading, and you will find the entrance to the UNESCO site.
