Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Nizwa Fort, exit the fort and head northwest on the main road, following the signs for Nizwa Souq. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout and follow the road, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Nizwa Souq. You will see the market on your left as you approach.

    From the Nizwa Grand Mall, head southwest on Al Hail Street toward the main road. Turn left onto the main road and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Nizwa Souq. You will reach the souq on your right side after passing a few local shops.

    If you are near Nizwa's cultural center, exit the center and head east on Al Dakhiliyah Road. Walk for about 800 meters until you reach the traffic light. Turn left at the light and continue for another 500 meters. Nizwa Souq will be on your right, just past the traditional Omani coffee shop.

    From the Nizwa Bus Station, exit the station and head south toward the main road. Cross the road and continue walking straight for about 1.2 kilometers. You will see signs for Nizwa Souq. As you approach, the souq will be on your left, just before you reach the roundabout.
