    From the center of Nizwa, head towards the Nizwa Fort. Once you reach the fort, continue on the main road (Al Maktoum Street) towards the direction of Tanuf. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will reach a bus station. From there, take any local bus heading towards Tanuf. The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tanuf, the Tanuf Castle Ruins are located about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head northwest on the main road, and you will see signs directing you to the castle ruins.

    Public Transport

    If you are located near Nizwa Souq, walk to the nearest bus station, which is about 5 minutes away. Board a bus heading towards Tanuf. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes. After you arrive in Tanuf, exit the bus and follow the road signs for Tanuf Castle Ruins. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk to the ruins from the bus stop, heading northwest along the main road.
