Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Rustaq Souq, head southwest on Al Batinah Highway (Route 1) towards Rustaq Fort. Continue straight for about 1 km. You will see the fort on your left, which is a large structure with prominent towers and walls. The entrance is located at the base of the fort.

  • Walking

    From Rustaq Park, exit the park and turn right onto Al Batinah Highway (Route 1). Walk south for approximately 1.5 km, passing several shops and local cafes. The fort will be visible on your right-hand side. Approach the entrance to explore the fort.

    If you are near the Rustaq Cultural Centre, walk east towards the main road (Al Batinah Highway). Turn left and walk north for about 500 meters. You will see the fort on your left. Continue walking until you reach the entrance of Rustaq Fort.

    From the Rustaq Police Station, walk north on the main road for about 600 meters. Turn right at the roundabout onto Al Batinah Highway (Route 1) and proceed for 500 meters. The fort will be on your left, where you can enter.
