    Start at the Rustaq Fort, a central landmark in Rustaq. From the fort, head south on the main road (Muscat-Rustaq Highway). Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Darat Al Alim. Turn left onto this road. Walk along this road for approximately 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding mountains. As you approach the Wadi Al-Fareey Dam, you will notice signs directing you towards the dam. Follow the signs for another 500 meters until you reach the dam area.

    From Rustaq's main bus station, take a local bus heading towards the Darat Al Alim area. Make sure to inform the bus driver of your destination, Wadi Al-Fareey Dam. The bus will take you to the closest point near the dam, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Once you get off the bus, you will need to walk for about 1 kilometer along the road leading to the dam. Follow the signs for Wadi Al-Fareey Dam until you reach the entrance.
