If you are starting from the central area of Sur, head towards the waterfront. You can start at the Sur Corniche, which is a popular area. Follow the road for about 1 kilometer until you see signs for the Dhow Factory. The factory is located near the coast, so you will be able to see the traditional wooden dhows being built from the road.
