Start at the Downtown Bend Transit Station located at 1st St and Greenwood Ave. Catch the Cascades East Transit bus #5 (Bend-Redmond) heading towards Redmond. Get off at the stop at the intersection of 27th St and Murphy Rd. From there, walk south on 27th St until you reach the entrance to the Deschutes National Forest. Continue walking south into the forest area until you reach the trailhead for Boyd Cave. The cave is located approximately 1.5 miles from the forest entrance.
