Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Bend, head south on Wall Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Franklin Avenue. Turn left onto Franklin Avenue and walk east until you reach the Deschutes River. At the river, turn right to follow the riverbank trail south. Continue along the river trail for approximately 1.5 miles, enjoying the scenic views. The Old Mill Bridge will be visible ahead as you approach the Old Mill District.

  From the Old Mill District in Bend, rent a bike from one of the local bike shops and head south on the river trail. Follow the path along the Deschutes River, which is well-marked and paved for cyclists. Continue on the trail for about 1.5 miles, and you will arrive at the Old Mill Bridge. Make sure to take your time to enjoy the scenic views along the way.

  To reach Old Mill Bridge using public transport, start by walking to the nearest bus stop in downtown Bend. Take the Cascade East Transit bus line 1, which heads toward the Old Mill District. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop near the Old Mill District and walk south along the river trail for about 0.5 miles to reach Old Mill Bridge.
