If you are starting from the downtown area of Bend, head north on Wall Street until you reach the intersection with NW Idaho Avenue. Turn right onto Idaho Avenue and continue walking for about four blocks. The Deschutes Historical Museum will be on your left at 129 NW Idaho Ave.

For those biking from the Old Mill District, take the Deschutes River Trail north until you reach the intersection with McKay Park. Exit the trail and head east on SW Colorado Avenue. After about half a mile, turn left onto NW Idaho Avenue. Continue north until you reach the museum at 129 NW Idaho Ave, which will be on your right.

If using public transit, board the Cascades East Transit bus at the nearest stop to you. Look for Route 1 (Bend City Loop) and get off at the stop at NW Idaho Avenue and NW Wall Street. From there, walk two blocks west on NW Idaho Avenue, and you will find the Deschutes Historical Museum at 129 NW Idaho Ave.
