Walking
If you are starting from the downtown area of Bend, head north on Wall Street until you reach the intersection with NW Idaho Avenue. Turn right onto Idaho Avenue and continue walking for about four blocks. The Deschutes Historical Museum will be on your left at 129 NW Idaho Ave.
Biking
For those biking from the Old Mill District, take the Deschutes River Trail north until you reach the intersection with McKay Park. Exit the trail and head east on SW Colorado Avenue. From there, walk two blocks west on NW Idaho Avenue, and you will find the Deschutes Historical Museum at 129 NW Idaho Ave.
