Continue on US-30 for about 30 miles until you reach the entrance to the John B. Yeon State Scenic Corridor. Turn left into the corridor, and follow the road to the Elowah Falls Trailhead. There is a small parking area available, but note that it can fill up quickly on weekends and holidays. Parking is free.

For those using public transportation, take the MAX Light Rail from Portland to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, catch the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which operates daily and will take you along the Columbia River Gorge. Disembark at the Elowah Falls stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as it may vary seasonally. The bus fare is approximately $5 each way. From the bus stop, it's a short hike to the waterfall via the Elowah Falls Trail.

Once you arrive at the Elowah Falls Trailhead, follow the well-marked trail that leads to the waterfall. The hike is about 1.2 miles round trip and is considered moderate in difficulty.
