Getting There

    From Portland, take I-84 E. Merge onto I-205 S at exit 22B. Follow signs for I-84 E toward The Dalles. Continue on I-84 E for about 20 miles. Take exit 17 toward Washougal. Merge onto Evergreen Hwy and drive for approximately 10 miles. Cape Horn Lookout will be on your left. Parking is available at the lookout. Note: There may be a small fee for parking in the area, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.

    Take the MAX Light Rail from downtown Portland to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to the C-Trans bus (Route 30) toward Washougal. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop closest to Evergreen Hwy. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles to reach Cape Horn Lookout. Be aware that the bus schedule varies by day, so check the C-Trans website for the latest schedule. A one-way fare is approximately $2.00.
