Car
If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto I-205 N from your current location. Take exit 21A to merge onto I-84 E toward The Dalles. Continue on I-84 E for about 20 miles. Take exit 28 for Crown Point Hwy/Historic Columbia River Hwy. Turn left onto Historic Columbia River Hwy (also known as Highway 30). Follow this road for approximately 6 miles until you reach Rooster Rock State Park. There is a parking fee of $5 for day use, so be prepared with cash or a card.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey by taking the MAX Light Rail Blue Line from any station in Clackamas County toward Hillsboro. Transfer at the Pioneer Courthouse/SW 6th Ave station to the MAX Red Line. Ride until you reach the Gateway Transit Center. From there, catch the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which runs daily to various destinations in the Columbia River Gorge, including Rooster Rock State Park. Note that the bus fare is $5 one way, so have cash or a card ready. The bus will drop you off at Rooster Rock State Park, which is just a short walk from the nude beach.
Bicycle
For those adventurous enough to bike, start at the Springwater Corridor Trail in Clackamas County. Follow the trail north until you can connect to the Historic Columbia River Highway. This scenic route will lead you directly to Rooster Rock State Park. The ride is approximately 20 miles and can be more strenuous, so ensure you have a good bike and necessary supplies. Additionally, make sure to plan for the parking fee of $5 if you drive back.
