Car

From anywhere in Clackamas County, head towards I-205 South. Take Exit 21 to merge onto I-84 East toward The Dalles. Continue on I-84 for approximately 20 miles. Take Exit 40 toward Cascade Locks. Merge onto the Historic Columbia River Highway, following signs for Multnomah Falls. Continue on this road for about 10 miles until you reach the Oneonta Trailhead. Look for parking areas along the road as you approach the trailhead.

Public Transportation

While public transportation options may be limited, you can take the TriMet MAX Light Rail Blue Line from various points in Clackamas County to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to a bus heading towards Cascade Locks. Check the TriMet website for current schedules and routes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you may need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the Oneonta Trailhead. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for the walk.

Bicycle
