Once on Highway 97, drive south until you reach the junction with Highway 197. Take Highway 197 south towards The Dalles. Continue on this highway until you reach the exit for Cascade Locks (Exit 64). Follow the signs to Cascade Locks, and once in town, look for the signs directing you to Sherrard Point. The final stretch involves turning onto Forest Road 1230, which will lead you directly to the parking area for Sherrard Point.
