Car
If you are driving, start on Interstate 84 (I-84). Take exit 44 for Cascade Locks and head south on Cascade Locks Highway. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Dry Creek Falls trailhead parking area on your left. Parking is free but limited; arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express bus from Portland to Cascade Locks. The bus operates multiple times a day. Once you arrive in Cascade Locks, walk south along Cascade Locks Highway for about 2 miles to reach the Dry Creek Falls trailhead. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance and plan accordingly, as service may be limited to certain days.
Hiking
If you are already in the Columbia River Gorge and enjoy hiking, you can reach Dry Creek Falls via the Dry Creek Falls Trail. The trailhead is located at the parking area mentioned above. The hike to the falls is about 2 miles round trip, with a moderate elevation gain, offering beautiful views along the way.
