Car
If you're traveling by car, start on I-84 E. From Hood River, take exit 44 toward Cascade Locks. Merge onto Cascade Ave. and continue straight to stay on this road. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto SW Portage Rd. The Marine Park Pavilion will be on your right at 395 SW Portage Rd, Cascade Locks, OR 97014. There is free parking available at the pavilion.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express bus from Portland or Hood River. If coming from Portland, board the bus at the Gateway Transit Center. The bus will take you directly to Cascade Locks. Once you arrive at the Cascade Locks stop, it's about a 15-minute walk to Marine Park Pavilion. Head east on SW 3rd St, then turn left onto SW Portage Rd. Follow the road until you reach the pavilion. Please check the bus schedule for the latest departure times and ticket prices, which typically range from $5 to $15 one way.

Bicycle
Cycling in the Columbia River Gorge is a scenic option. If you are in Hood River, you can take the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail, which offers stunning views and is bike-friendly. Follow the trail west towards Cascade Locks. Upon reaching Cascade Locks, follow the signs to SW Portage Rd, and you will arrive at Marine Park Pavilion. The ride is approximately 12 miles and it is advisable to wear a helmet and bring water. Be mindful of traffic when cycling on the road.

If you are already in Cascade Locks, you can walk to Marine Park Pavilion easily. Start from the center of Cascade Locks, head west on Cascade Ave. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto SW Portage Rd. Continue walking for another half mile and you will find the Marine Park Pavilion at 395 SW Portage Rd. This is a pleasant walk with views of the Columbia River.
